2020 New Audi A3 Sportback with Sharp

Review Audi A3 Sportback The new one is convenient, all the characteristics.

Eight year ago, the Audi A3 hatchback was the first to try on the Volkswagen group’s modular MQB platform, which later became the basis for countless cars in one form or another — from the tiny Audi A1 to the huge Volkswagen Viloran minivan. And now “a-three” has experienced a generation change later than its relatives: Volkswagen Golf of the eighth generation, Skoda Octavia and Seat Leon have already been released and started to appear on European roads.
The intrigue could not be saved, although there was nothing to hide, because the Audi A3 hatchback has preserved its image almost intact. It is easiest to distinguish the fourth-generation hatchback from the outgoing model by the new headlights with characteristic branches in the lower part and by the slightly expanded radiator grille. At the rear, plastic bumper pads that mimic air
ducts catch the eye.
In profile, the five-door is unmistakably recognizable: except that the roof line has become a little more sloping, and the Windows in the rear racks are a little smaller. The best is the enemy of the good? By the way, the three-door version in the range will no longer be (as well as the Golf with Leon). In length and width, the new Audi A3 Sportback added 3 cm (and grew to 4.34 and 1.82 m, respectively), although the height and wheelbase (2637 mm) remained the same. The trunk volume was increased from 340 to 380 liters, and with the second-row seats folded, the owner will have 1200 liters (plus 20 liters compared to the previous generation hatchback).

Review Audi A3 Sportback

Audi used the non-Geneva digital show to unveil the fourth-generation A3 compact car.
This A3 shape, shown here in the Sportback trim, is unlikely to grace American shores. But make the sedan less practical, and you can expect a lot of the same style when the three-box model replaces the current model here.
The new A3 combines the familiar proportions with more clear details. It becomes thinner, wider, and even more angular than before, with the grille undergoing the same stretch. The Audi’s hexagonal grille also shifts downwards, enough for the A3 to have a more noticeable gap between the headlights, like the RS models. Its sides have a smaller side surface, with wider edges and a slightly concave surface to emphasize them.
Those who bemoan the constant expansion of the modern car will be happy to know that the length of the A3 has grown by just 1.2 inches. Its height and wheelbase remain the same as the current model.

As expected in a modern car with four rings, the interior of the A3 is becoming more and more technological. The standard 10.1-inch touch screen dominates the center console and uses the latest version of the Audi MMI system. It is ten times the computing power of the current model and even equipped with a WiFi access point. Audi’s virtual cab is also standard, with a wider 12.3-inch option, as well as a head-shaped display.
The new infotainment system allows you to store up to six user profiles with saved Seating, climate and navigation settings. It also provides car-to-X services, as does its Mk8 VW Golf platform assistant . The available digital car key – only on Android phones-will arrive after the first A3 launch.
The rest of the interior is fairly standard German fare, although the seat material is made from recycled plastic bottles.
The choice of engines in Europe is presented in the form of a single gas and diesel installation, each of which is in two States. The 1.5-liter TFSI produces 148 HP, and the diesel comes with 114 or 148 HP. when started, all A3s will only power the front wheels, via a choice of manual or six-speed dual-clutch transmission. However, Audi is teasing further expansion of the model range, including the expected Quattro transmission and other engines, including electrified options.

When it eventually arrives in sedan form on these shores, we expect the A3 to continue to be powered by Audi’s 2-liter turbocharged four-pot engine and DSG only. In the current model, this corresponds to 184 HP and 221 lb-ft, or 228 HP and 258 lb-ft in the Quattro model.
Sales of the new A3 Sportback will begin later this month in Europe. Expect the sedan to show before the end of 2020, with us sales soon after. It will arrive just in time to battle the Mercedes-Benz A-Class and the new front-wheel drive BMW 2 series Grand Coupe . In the future, replacing the sporty S3 and fire-breathing RS3 should not be too far behind.
